We own Vistana, which used to be called Starwood Vacation Ownership.  Within our 24 Villas around the world, this place is one of the top destinations, I think.  Although we have been near Atlantis in the past on a Cruise Ship, I never step foot in the resort.  Finally, one year, we booked a week in the villa portion of the resort, which is in the Harborside of the Atlantis.  It is about 10 min walking distance from the main resort.

This place has a casino, Aquaventure Waterpark, which is a 141 acre of adventure with my favorite lazy river(more like a white water).  It has 18 slides and 20 swimming areas.  We spent almost the whole week there.  My favorite experience was exploring the largest open-air marine habitat in the world.  Most amazing indoor and outdoor aquariums.

One thing to watch out for is the cost of food.  Almost everything is imported to the island, so you may need to find a local grocery across the bridge and cook if you can.  We had a couple of burgers and a hot dog with fries for $80 at the local Johnny Rockets.  Also, if you order food, you need to be patient.  The locals are very very slow.
